Urge

I always feel the urge to have an international degree and after receiving many comments from well wishers and friends that I will be good in business, it's getting more. switching careers is also on my mind. I happened to meet a lady at Heathrow yesterday. When I proclaimed that I am a software engineer, see replied quickly that many software engineers she had met are always ready to say that they are 'bankers' though they write the code for banking institutions. wierd huh!..so,it does mean that I will always be inspired by the tag 'Banker', may be a 'real estate banker'..Sounds quirky..!@ so, following this, I have planned that i will CFA will be a good option to enter into finance. a Pre MBA CFA L1 or L2 will augur a good chance to knock the door of top institutions. so, lemme start sharpening the brain..see you soon

Vijaya dasami starting today

Getting confused..I have been in a long saraswati puja holidays for years. Yes, it's after Feb 25,2005, day when I last studied for my Infy C viva ( Yeah i failed in C exam and went on to sit in Viva..that's a different story altogether), am starting again today for my GMAT preparation. Got my KAPLAN verbal from Amazon. It was a very prompt delivery by Amazon. So, my vijayadasami starts today.

I always have the feeling that I am bad in Verbal. I will be preparing more for my verbal as I am very confident of my Quants. I am going to start with Verbal and hope to finish it by end of september. Blogging gives more confidence and inspires a lot to study. I think my kinda blogging is a self statement which would/may pressurise me to adhere to it. I know it all depends on the followers of this blog as I currently have none. But I think with increase in quality, it would definitely increase as I am planning to write how I prepared for my GMAT , college applications, loan stuff and other detailed stuff in this blog which would help people.

My MBA dream

Yes. you guessed it. I am also bitten by the MBA bug. I think whoever thinks about management education will start a blog on this. Atleast they will have a blog to motivate themselves at the end of the day, if they are 'ding'ed because of the rigorous and strenous preparetion and admission days. So, here I am, initiating my process of getting into the management world.

I always have the confidence that age doesn't matter for studies. I remember my Uncle started his doctorate in Vaishnavism after retiring from Meterological department. But, the news is that, he did not complete it :-) so, it's all in it for me..

But why MBA has become such an importing turning corner for everyone's career? I see even medical professional doing their MBA. I believe that it's because of the networking and contacts which you acquaint during the Masters which would help you a lot in the later years of life. I don't know but my friends who have completed my masters say so..

fine then, it's time to cook the curry and eat it too..but curry needs a little bit of boiling, so MBA process will start from september...
